Welcome to Isle Aikaki!
We hope you enjoy your stay :)

RULES

NO nudity whatsoever. Any pictures containing MILD blood must be adulted.
Spend AT LEAST 20 minutes on a picture. Any pictures done in 20 minutes or less will be considered spam and deleted. (exceptions: contest announcements)
Please don't submit more than four pictures a day. Four alone should be enough.
No excessive use of comments. O-Mail someone if you want to chat with them.
Respect all the other members. If you flame, you will be banned.

*About Uploads*
-Ask if you want upload access.
-Things that could be uploaded: drawings lost through the oekaki and couldn't be recovered OR sketched drawings that you want to color here. Make sure that if its a sketch its of appropriate size (800x800px is the max).
-DON'T upload other images besides sketches or oekaki drawings.
Failure to follow the rules will result in removal of your upload privileges, amongst other consequences. So stick to the rules please! :)

*Changed the max canvas size. I don't know about you, but I really felt 500x500 was too small. :P The max is now 800x800, and you can upload pictures of that resolution.
*I know the ads are annoying, but thank you for bearing with it! We'll eventually find a new place to host our oekaki, as well as our own domain, hopefully. In the mean time, thanks for taking the time to draw here<3
*Added current theme, contests, and upcoming birthdays! The descriptions are pretty self explanatory, so email me with details if you wish. I love hearing ideas from other artists. :)

Wow, its been awhile since I've updated this thing, hahah. Well, we've gotten a few more new members, so I can't wait to see all your pretty drawings. :) I'm working on some things for the overall layout, so it won't be so boring and blah. Look forward to that. :) Also, sorry for the massive ads and stuff. When our board gets big and active enough, we'll attempt to get a better server without ads and all. Hope you're all doing well!

Jepari took a look at the site settings and such, and it appears that there are internal server errors that we don't have control over. :\ Unfortunately, we're not sure when submitting pictures will be functional again. We don't plan on closing the oekaki any time soon, but we may have to change servers. Sorry about that. :( TPMO should be working, though - at least the upload function should be. In any case, I hope you all have a wonderful holiday for the next two weeks<33

Contest!
What: Make our Oekaki's mascot!
Rules:
*It can be ANYTHING. Animal, human, or even an object. No copyrighted characters though, ONLY original.
*MUST be done in oekaki. As mentioned in the rules, you CAN draw it on paper and upload it here, as long as you do the final picture in oekaki!
*MUST be colored.

-Contest will last for about a month. Everything will be judged based on creativity. The winner will get their character to be the mascot of our oekaki.

A very nice image. Good anatomy, simple shading. I like the shine on her vest, it makes it look leathery. The only thing I can comment on that seems out of place is the locke of hair on her right (left side of image) shoulder. The angle that it's pulled at doesn't seem right for its length or the way it sits. I'm not all that great at hair myself though so...

Done! This is Inarys 'Eranu' Cloudbreak, the Flame Strider, government assassin for the Convocacy of Silvermoon, and Vaelek Blackthorne's A#1 squeezle. She's also my favorite WoW character that I created, not to be confused with Vaelek himself, who is my favorite WoW character that wasn't made by me. Now, I haven't drawn here in almost a year sooo... Reintroduction!

Bidoof? Must be one of the new ones. I still don't have a DS so... No Diamond/Pearl. From the looks of him I'd say Beaver? Very cute. Anywho, I've watched a couple of the animations for your drawings and it looks like when you do the sketch for your head you tend to get carried away a little, drawing too many lines that in the end don't form a circle and then go back and erase what you've drawn until it conforms into a circle. Next time you draw, you should try to slow down a little and make more of a circular shape with the outline itself. You may find that if you have to erase at all, it's sometimes best to just start from scratch, especially on the sketch stage. After all, the sketch is the base for the whole picture, so spend as much time on it as you need to. Hope this helps.

whoo....Didn't take me that long, i let this sit for super and a shower and other stuff.

ive got some wicked welts Dx Oh wellz awesome game despite the whole not having played very often.We were in a tree course, i went all rambo on my brother and his friends till i busted up my knee then i just stuck with my team. xD

i think it came out adorable

the only thing i 'd like to point out is that the background blue is pretty close to the blue you used for the chinchou. i would recommend to maybe use a blue not so similar so that it could help the picture "pop" more.
